LEGO: Gandalf Arrives

Hello fellow toy collectors and visitors :) hope you're doing fine. I just can't wait to share to you what I bagged today!

Finally, he arrived! Well, literally haha. I couldn't wait to see the Lord of the Rings series by LEGO. It's a much awaited brick set for the LOTR fans - like me and LEGO builders - not so like me LOL!

Gandalf Arrives scene is on the first movie (The Fellowship of the Ring) of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. This is when Gandalf went to the Shire to visit his friend Bilbo who is celebrating his 111th birthday.

The good thing with this horse Lego brick is it has articulation now. I remember before, the Lego horse doesn't have - if I'm not mistaken, any articulation. Now, legs at the back is articulated and also its neck.

Frodo, before he saw Gandalf coming, he was reading a book under a tree.

My friend thinks Gandalf's Minifigure is hilarious.. I think it's cute!

What did you open today?

I managed to open some of my previous hauls last night and you can imagine how careful I was in opening each one LOL!

One Piece Franky

Hello everyone! It's September! A few days more and it'll be... Hobby Dumpy's first year!!! :D Imagine that I've managed to maintain this blog for a year now. Thanks to my buddies here and of course to my toys! LOL

Okay, to welcome the start of "Ber" months, I'd like to share my other favorite Anime character.

Here's Franky of Straw Hat Pirates :D

I know what's on your mind... He resembles Johnny Bravo w/o the flat tops hair haha! And don't forget his favorite line "Woah, momma!" It's a shame that this figure cannot do Johnny's signature pose :(

 

Franky is the shipwright of the Straw Hat pirates. He's the one who built the Thousand Sunny with his brother Iceburg. He modified his body to be a cyborg and installed weapons in it.

 

Another masterpiece by Bandai for a very reasonable price :)

Size comparison with Zoro :) They look good together! Sad to say, I haven't got their captain yet....!!!
