To have something for the Halloween, I did the project which is supposed to be for the last year's Halloween LOL! Better late than never :D
Here's the Ecto-1 by Hot Wheels. I just added some decorations to it :D
It's very common to just paint the roof rack so I tried something different ;)
After mud bath, I added some texture to make it look rusty and more muddy.
And vandalized it :D

I put it inside the acrylic case to make it look "exclusive" - it is exclusive! :))

uhmmmm... this cannot be classified... is this a herbal Ecto ??? a carnivorous plant ECTO ??? the Ecto plant boot of Wall-E ??? the zombie ECTO ??? the offroad-amazon-rally ECTO ??? the post-nuclear-disaster ECTO ??? (i’m running out of ideas XDDDDD)... anyway the rusty effect is very realistic and the last pictures reminds me pretty much a poster of a series B movie... yeah, those gore movies from the 80’s !!!... =)

ReplyDeleteaw.. you didn't catch one? This casting by Hot Wheels gets rarer than before... I didn't find it myself too. I had to buy this one online but I was very careful not to over excite myself and end up buying an over priced piece. Just be patient and you'll find one soon. There's also a new release - the Halloween series but I think I'm going to pass on that one.

Yes I saw the Halloween Ecto-1 but I don't like the color theme for that. Still prefer original. I can always wait or skip anyway. LOL
Deletehahahaha! I'd go with herbal Ecto and I'll promote organic farming LOL! I'm glad you liked the rusty effect there the effort was not a waste haha. When I was doing the project I couldn't decide if I'm going to use the windshield or not because the windsheild is color blue! that will not fit with the dirty old look of this one so I just removed it. But then, it does not look so scary to me so I thought of putting some leaving creatures inside but I couldn't find any so the ending was to just plant seeds inside hahaha.
