I just realized that I haven't posted here any Shelby Collectibles from my collection. So today, I'm sharing with you one of my treasured Shelby Cobra by Shelby Collectibles :D
This is just a regular 1:64 by SC. If you know the "Meatball," this is the SC counterpart of Hot Wheel's $Thunt and Johnny Lightning's White Lightning. I haven't encountered one so far.
As of now, my best 1:64 diecast for a Cobra model would be this. The details of this model is comparable to that of a 100% Hot Wheels, at a cheaper price.
Engine is very well-detailed. This is just what JL lacks. They should have added the opening hood gimmick. For me, it's a must have for this casting.
I just can't wait for a 1:64 Kyosho. But it looks like it doesn't have opening hood too.
And opening doors. Lots of gimmick for a 1:64.
This brand is very rare in the local market. I have 4 of the Cobras by SC and all of them were bought from my fellow collectors.
What's your score for this one? :)
And back to game consoles.. I just heard Nintendo is about to release a new console this year.. I wonder how much it will cost :D

so you asked for a score (and opinion) ???... then i will give you mine, pal... knowing a few Shelby Collectibles in my personal collection (not published yet, as always =P) and the overrated HW 100% and also my dear JLs and i would say that this brand (SC) manufacture the best Shelbys available in the market for a reasonable price and is the least you can expect from them...
ReplyDeleteKiosho, Greenlight ??? no way, they’re not in the same "team", not even Tomytec achieves this level of detail, maybe Minichamps or M2Machines but as far as i know they don’t have this cast in 1:64 scale...
i would say as well (as a complaint) that HW 100% lines are really nice but their prices are not consistent with reality and they’re not even as "limited editions" as they claim, i mean "1 of 15.000" ??? c’on !!! maybe 1 of 500, it doesn’t matter that we are talking about HW, limited edition is limited edition... also the regular JLs lines achieve the same level of detail and finishing (not to mention the JL’s premium lines) so, this is what i call an overrated line, isn’t it ???... pufffff... someone had to say it !!!... LOL

Hi Chris! Very well said :D I'm really glad you give your comment and score for this casting and gladder that you agree with me LOL! Though I also have the 100% HW Cobras. I just can't remove it from the must have list for my Shelby cobra collection even though I know it doesn't deserve the price they asked for it.
