GMC Vandura used on the movie A-Team a.k.a the A-Team van. Although the review for this casting is not so good, I think it is still worth buying for it is Hot Wheels' first time to produce one. |
DMC Delorean from the movie Back to the Future. Like the A Team van, the details are not so good for this casting . Well, I got what I paid for haha. |
'67 Shelby GT 500 " Eleanor" from the movie Gone in 60 Seconds. Man, she is indeed one of the best cars I saw from a movie. The movie was great and so as the featured cars. |
The old Bumblebee 1969 Camaro. Frankly speaking, the old one is more beautiful than the new one. Maybe because it's true that nothing really beats old school LOL. |
HEHE... as you, i have a few diecasts movie or TV series themed with good or great likeness to the original, basically from Batman, the Dukes of Hazzard, Disney’s Cars and some more on the way... they ignite our love both for cars and for movies/TV series... now, let’s talk about your hauls pal...
ReplyDeleteas you already know, i was disappointed with the A-Team Van cast, both in 1/64 and 1/18 scales by Hot Wheels... i would consider seriously something from AUTOArt or Danbury Mint if they were available (obviously we’re talking about expensive items, but they are worth)...
the Back to the Future’s DeLorean, comes from a movie that is not my cup of coffee, but i was investigating for a Johnny Lightning diecast 1/64 replica... the result was, way too pricey for my taste LOL
the Nicholas Cage/Angelina Jolie’s 60 seconds is indeed a remake !!!, the movie is great, the cars are awesome and unlike the previous diecasts mentioned, this "Eleanor" is a really nice replica i have not seen till now =O
finally the Bumbblebee is from Hot Wheels or from Hasbro ??? my bet is for Hasbro... well, i think both the old and new school are great choices since the new school has a good resemblance with the old design, but this is not precisely the ’77 Camaro movie version... anyway is another nice replica... =)
P.S. with all those hauls i feel envy and seriously you’re making me work hard on my comments... LOL xOx’
Hi Chrisman, welcome again :)
ReplyDeleteI was at first hesitant to buy an A-Team van. it is just somebody sold it for almost SRP price and that caught me. My reason is, I just want to get an A-Team van regardless of the details. just want to add this to my 1:64 movie themed cars and as we know we can't really expect a regular 1:64 to have high details and of course at this cost. I'm still happy that my 1:64 movie cars are still growing even though most of them are really hard to find.
for the BTTF delorean, I agree with that. I won't consider buying JL's version it's way too pricey. maybe I will if I am serious in collecting BTTF :D
for the Eleanor, I think this is a regular release.. Maybe you just didn't had the luck finding one LOL.
the Bumblebee is by Hotwheels. This is from the Phil's Garage edition so you can see it is more detailed than the regulars. A bit higher price too.
hahaha! yeah I noticed that. You really give a review for each car. Thanks for that and for sharing your thoughts here. I appreciate that :)
I'm glad you dropped by again :)
it’s my pleasure pal... i like a wide variety of toys, but definitely cars bring back a lot of good memories from my infancy, that’s why when it comes to cars i become too chatty LOL... indeed a have a ton (so to say, since many of them are pricey) of great diecasts ready to publish, but i like to taste them one by one, because each of them is a little gem... and well, i don’t like to boast about my collection like other "colleagues" do LOL XDDDDD
ReplyDeletewow.. same here but the reason I am not yet posting them is because of again, laziness LOL! and some of them are not yet ready to be posted like my drop tops shelby cobra before. I was looking for the other pair so it is just now that I posted it - so I have other good reason :D
