Got a Super Treasure Hunt Morris Mini yesterday. It is already out of the blister or loose when sold to me by a DCPH member. So it means, cheaper :-)
For me it is better to get it loose not just because it's cheaper but also, it is easier for me because I don't have to decide whether to set it loose or not :-)
At last I have the Thunt in my Mini Cooper collection. There is a yellow version of Mini Treasure Hunt but the price is way toooo high! I don't think I'll spend 107USD for a single 1:64 and just for a side collection. I'm going to have that for less...patience is a virtue ;)
Thank you for visiting. 'til next time :)
HEY, HEY !!! that Mini has the charm uhmmmmm, very nice model and even better in black... by the way, as it has rubber tires, is not precisely a T-Hunt but a Super T-Hunt...
ReplyDeletei don’t know why is that hard to decide if you keep your toys (specifically your diecast) inside the cards, boxes, clamshells, etc... the decision is: are you planning to sell it later or are you planning simply to collect it ??? in the first case: keep it in the packaging, in the second: open it... is that simple !!! =P
now, US$107 for a 1/64 diecast ??? no way, not in a zillion years... you must be nuts to pay such price for something so small... but that’s not the most expensive 1/64 diecast i have seen... for your information, there is an ECTO-1 1/64 by Johnny Lightning (White Lightning) for US$250 which is a complete nonsense... @.@
P.S. why you didn’t take more pics of this beauty pal ??? HUH !!!
ah! sorry, yes this is a $Thunt! I was focusing on the word "treasure" LOL!
ReplyDeletehmmmm...
my explanation: I am not keeping them in cards because I am planning to sell them in the future. I see the packaging/cards as part of the item that's why I also take care of the cards and as much as possible, I want them in mint condition too LOL! maybe you find a bit weird but.. that is how I want to see them displayed in my room. but I also want to touch them and take a look at them closely and take pictures of them... my remedy is, get an extra one for my loose version LOL! - very costly I know....
thanks for the visit as always pal! :)
and about the lesser pics..... I can't find other good angles for this hahaha! I thought of it not to be photogenic.. though, the pictures look better than expected.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like them :)
oh, you can continue keeping you diecast in their cards and spending more money in loose cars (because you’re rich LOL) =PPPPP and i will continue opening my cards and setting free my cars (because i’m poor LOL)... but we will continue being pals and colleagues, that’s the great thing about collecting !!!...
ReplyDeleteon the other hand, we are collecting 3D objects, so you can take more than 2 pics of them =P (by the way, it’s you or it’s Lia who took the pics ???... because they’re really nice =)
LOL! no, I am just really into cobras.. they are the majority in my collection... very seldom that I buy for my other line of collection.. and those that I have doubles are mostly hotwheels because they're the ones affordable... and... why am I explaining? LOL! just continue collecting and collecting.. haha.
ReplyDeletenope, it is me who takes these pics.. I am using a point and shoot camera - I think it's enough for taking pictures of toys. though, I want a better camera too.. -- a point and shoot with higher specs maybe. ;)
